Maybe it’s because of my time living in the South, but I truly believe summer isn’t summer without an abundance of fresh, juicy peaches. The sweet stone fruit is one of my favorite seasonal treats, and as soon as they arrive mid-summer I find myself loading up on them week after week until the last ones leave the farmers market. And just in case you need a quick refresher, the best way to store peaches depends on ripeness and when you plan to use them – room temp is ideal when they need more time to soften, otherwise turn to the fridge.
